Invisalign 7th visit

At this visit we took refinement impressions to fine tune everything. Cosmetically there has been a big improvement but we still need to retract the upper teeth to get a better bite and we still need to fine tune things a little cosmetically.

At his 4th visit you can see the teeth are looking a lot better than the preop photos. Also the whitening is working really well.









Also notice how well the "grippers" blend in.

Invisalign third visit

At his third visit we again did some minor slenderizing of the teeth with a finishing strip. We then gave him his 5th, 6th and 7th set of aligners.
You can start to see a difference between these pictures and the initial photos.
We plan on seeing him again in 6 weeks.

At his second visit we did some minor slenderizing of the lower teeth and gave him his 3rd and 4th sets of aligners.
Note the teeth have gotten whiter.

Invisalign first visit

At the first appointment we did some slenderizing of the upper teeth (roughly 0.4mm between each one) to help alleviate the crowding and allow for tooth movement. We also placed his attachments on some of his teeth. The attachments are made of clear filling material and give the aligner something to grab onto for more difficult cases.
He started wearing his first set of aligners. Each aligner is typically worn for 2weeks. We also gave him some whitening gel and his second set of aligners and plan to see him in a month.

When I get back to the office next week I plan to set up blog that will follow one of my Invisalign patients. I hope to track his progress with pictures at each visit. Changing someones smile and improving their appearance is one of the more enjoyable things we do at the office. We are a small cosmetic and general dental office located in Saint Petersburg, FL.
